During the Gala Dinner of the Order of Saint-Gabriel Belgium in 2019, a raffle was organized and raised funds for the Zeepreventorium center.
Zeepreventorium is a medical and pediatric rehabilitation center for children and young people under 18, suffering from chronic diseases.
Different disciplines collaborate closely to establish a patient-specific care pathway, often with particularly complex chronic conditions, which is at the heart of the process.
Particular attention is paid to the accompaniment of parents and relatives, to bring them concrete knowledge for the good return of the patient home.
A large number of chronic conditions are treated with Zeepreventorium (cystic fibrosis, severe asthma, severe burns, eczema, ichthyosis, psoriasis, obesity, diabetes, …).
The support provided by the Order of Saint-Gabriel Belgium has been used to help children suffering from chronic kidney diseases, hematological diseases and endocrine diseases.
