During the gala dinner of the Order of Saint Gabriel Belgium in 2018, a raffle was organized and raised funds for the Foundation Chocolate and Artistic Sugar.
The Foundation Chocolate and Artistic Sugar was created in 2016 with the aim of enhancing the image of sugar and Belgian chocolate, both in taste and in its artistic aspect.
Placed under the high patronage of H.R.H. Princess Alexander of Belgium, it organizes or participates in events, highlighting this heritage, whether in Belgium or in the world.
It illustrates the different artistic cultures of sugar and chocolate and helps the artists who ensure the prestige of this heritage.
The Foundation also aims to educate young people by highlighting an educational tool to develop new techniques, based on the history of chocolate and its health benefits.
Various works are realized on portraits of personalities of the cinema or music, sponsoring various charitable actions.
The support provided by the Order of Saint Gabriel was particularly used to offer children living in institutions (home, orphanage, …) or in pediatric units hospitals, chocolates and gifts for Saint Nicholas.
Bailli of the Order of Saint Gabriel Belgium Pascal BECKERS and the Commander for the Province of Liège Daniel FOSTROY give the envelope of the tombola to the President of the Foundation Chocolate and Artistic Sugar Mr. Jean-Marie DESSARD.
